Simple Rule of Thirds

I wanted to share with you a little bit about a basic photography tip. It is a basic concept that states that you don’t have to put your subject in the middle of the frame. You can put them off center to create a more interesting picture. Its not something you want to do all the time, but it might help with the more difficult subjects.

This was my original picture of a water fall. However I think it would have been better had I thought about the rule of thirds.

Putting the water fall in the right side of the picture just makes it more interesting.
